Basin Sod Shipping and Delivery Policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy ("Policy") applies to all orders placed through Basin Sod ("Company") website or physical store.
- Delivery Service: The Company will deliver products to the shipping address provided by the customer during the checkout process.
- Notice of Delivery:
- Prepaid Orders: The Company reserves the right to deliver products without prior notice once payment has been received and processed.
- Collect on Delivery: Delivery personnel will attempt to contact buyers before delivery; however, if there’s no response, we reserve the right to delay or cancel the delivery entirely.
- Delivery Risk Assessment: The Company reserves the right to assess delivery risks associated with shipping destinations. In cases where the Company determines that delivering products to a certain location poses a risk to the safety of our personnel, vehicles, or the integrity of the products, we retain the right to withhold delivery and cancel the sale.
- Limitation of Liability for Damages: The Company shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities incurred during the shipping or delivery process. Once the product has been delivered to the designated address, the responsibility for any damages or losses transfers to the customer.
- Detention Charges: The first 30 minutes of detention at each shipping/receiving location are provided free of charge. Detention time exceeding the initial 30 minutes will accrue at a rate of $50 per hour for each subsequent hour.
- Canceled Order Policy: Customers must provide notice of cancellation by 12:00pm PST of the day before the scheduled delivery date. Failure to provide timely notice may result in the assessment of a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee may be up to the full cost of the order.
- Delivery Timelines: The Company will make every effort to deliver orders within the timeframe of 8:00am and 12:00pm PST. However, delivery timelines may vary depending on factors such as product availability and shipping destination.
- Shipping Costs: Delivery costs are included in the product pricing for most delivery locations. However, for certain remote or specialized delivery locations, additional shipping charges may apply. Shipping costs will be shared during the checkout process. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise specified.
- Pallets: Customers are responsible to return pallets.
- Policy Changes: The Company reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to this Policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the Company’s website.
